Hi!
I'm MJ - the creator of the Crow Tarot and many other mass-produced decks. Since 2024 I have decided to ONLY publish my work independently. Each deck is printed in small batches in the USA, shipped to my studio on San Juan Island where I assemble the decks, guidebooks, print the bags they go in and ship them off to you.

How do I make my art? One layer at a time! It’s not AI generated.

I use photoshop and a Wacom tablet to draw and construct each piece. Doing my artwork this way feels very similar to working with physical supplies- I have to say that the Wacom tablet was the best investment I have made for my artwork. It mimics so well using different brushes different mediums. It’s kind of astounding. I am still drawing as I would If I was drawing on a piece of paper. The only difference is I’m drawing on a tablet I’m filling in -color where maybe I would brush paint, but I’m just doing it on a tablet.
